Fukuyama Masaharu’s face was every where at the magazine corner of the book shop in September. We assume you can see his face on 20 magazines at least. As promotion of his movie YOUGISHA X NO KENSHIN, and also the release timing of the new single Saiai by KOH+ the unit of Fukuyama and Shibasaki Kou which was adopted as the movie’s theme song, it’s not surprising at all that Fukuyama Effect is expected by every magazine and the adoption as well. So why is Fukuyama winning such a big universal praise?
His drama “Galileo” (Fuji TV channel) on the air last year gained a big hit of over 20% average audience rating and the photography show PHOTO STAGE III-Zankyo-held at his hometown Nagasaki April this year also brought a prosperity.
